Billing & network control for internet providers

Your customers pay by M-Pesa. Your routers open by themselves.

SmartBill runs the whole loop for a WiFi business — the captive portal, the payment, the voucher, and the MikroTik configuration behind it. No spreadsheets. No one sitting up at night switching people on.

Available worldwide — live on subscriber networks today

M-Pesa STK push straight to the customer's phone — access opens on confirmation
MikroTik Hotspot and PPPoE provisioned on RouterOS automatically
Multi-site Many routers, many towers, one dashboard and one set of books
24 / 7 Router health watched continuously, with automatic failover

What it does

Everything between the customer's money and the customer's internet.

Most small providers lose money in the gap — a subscriber pays and waits for someone to notice, or their time runs out and nobody switches them off. SmartBill closes that gap and keeps it closed.

Payments

Money collects itself

A customer picks a package on your portal and enters their number. The M-Pesa prompt reaches their phone, and the moment it clears, their access opens and their code is issued. Every transaction is reconciled against the subscription that paid for it — so an abandoned prompt never quietly becomes free internet.

Provisioning

The router configures itself

SmartBill speaks RouterOS directly. It creates the hotspot user or the PPPoE secret, applies the speed profile the package was sold at, and writes the expiry onto the router itself — so time runs out on the hardware, not just in the database. If a router is briefly unreachable it retries, and tells you if it still can't.

Control

One code, the devices you sold

Packages carry a device allowance, and it is counted against who is actually online rather than every phone that ever connected. A customer who changes handset isn't locked out; a code being passed around a room is. Devices can be blocked outright, and a blocked handset is disconnected, not just recorded.

Visibility

You can see the whole network

Live sessions, data used, revenue by package, which router each subscriber is on, and every device that failed to connect and why. Routers are polled continuously — when one drops, subscribers move to another and the move is recorded rather than discovered later from complaints.

How it works

Four steps, and nobody on your side touches any of them.

They connect to your WiFi

Your branded portal opens on their phone, showing your packages at your prices. Each site can carry its own name and look.

They choose a package and pay

The M-Pesa prompt arrives on the number they entered. Nothing is granted until the payment actually confirms.

SmartBill configures the router

The account is created on the hardware with the right speed profile and the right expiry, and the customer receives their code.

Time runs out on its own

When the package expires the session ends and the account is removed — on the router, not merely in a report. Renewing puts them straight back on.

Who it's for

Built for operators who already have customers waiting.

Hotspot operators

Selling hours, days and weeks of WiFi at a shopping centre, a hostel, an estate or a trading centre. Vouchers, device limits and automatic cut-off included.

Home & business lines

PPPoE subscribers on monthly packages, each household sharing one session across their own devices, with the speed you sold enforced at the router.

Growing networks

More than one tower, more than one router, and a need for a single dashboard, one set of books, and subscribers who move between sites without losing access.
